    Hello all,

I want to get my father a tablet to game on (his phone is getting difficult for him to see) and the one feature I want on it is to be able to display the video on his TV while using the tablet as a kind of touch controller. Is this possible and which tablets will let me do this?

Most phones/tablets can be connected to your TV using an "MHL adapter" just find an compatible one for the device you decide to use.

Or you can connect wireless to any tv using an adapter and an Samsung tablet, If you have an Samsung smart TV you might not even need an adapter at all.

Today I experimented with my Chromecast. It seemed to lag just a bit during gameplay. Also, although I have a wireless router, my father doesn't even have internet. He gets everything on his cell phone. I'm looking for something that will link directly, not via an already in place network. I'll be checking further into the All Share devices this weekend.

    Any other ideas?
