    Hi folks,

I just need your opinion about the above mentioned devices.

I want to replace my aging "Bananaphone" (LG G Flex2) for a new one. 2GB RAM is just not enough to use it without microstutters, input lags at present times.

I use my phone mostly for browsing, tapatalking, playing games and taking some pics. So Performance is most important for me. Taking pics is second and Audio quality is last.

I won't switch to CrApple nor to WinGoofs Phone. I don't like Samsung for an unknown reason although I know they make very good devices.

So what's your opinion about the three devices? Or is Samsung S7 Edge the way to go? Or wait till next year?

Every opinion is much appreciated! :D

HTC 10 if you need good audio ,build etc. And want full modding control .
    Doesn't have the best camera.
S7 if you want a great all rounder. But you get very limited modding control.

Edit - Sorry I missed the part where you said Audio quality is last.
I'd say get the S7 OR S7 Edge. Both would be great for you. Be careful with the Edge though, pretty mixed restocks right now.

Hm, I have very mixed feelings regarding Samsung. I know that they make very good products, but I simply can't get used to the thought. AND I want a fully tweakable phone! I want a bloat free device. :D

OnePlus 3 has 6GB RAM but only FHD. Performance wise this one should be my first choice. Hm, choosing the right one is not that easy!

    Yeah that's why I didn't quite recommend the OP3.
    Otherwise it's an amazing phone.

I have a Moto X Pure Edition, very good phone IMHO. Alternatively, consider the LG V20, removable battery, microSD card and top of the line chipset + screen.

    OP3.

It has everything from UFS2.0, highest developer Love as of now at XDA & OnePlus made the build quality fantastic this time no wiggle of buttons nothing, fast fingerprint scanner and not so into your face buttons, simple Oxygen OS being closest to the stock and adding crucial fucntionalties. Now that Pixel is ruined and death of Nexus, I see OnePlus as the nexus reborn & at $400 It's a steal. The only downside is like all other OEMs but much much better than others they release the full sources expect the some hw like dash charging, wifi, etc while Nexuses only had it fully released.

The AMOLED is a bit down since they used the basic Samsung Panel as obv samsung would never let it's best displays (Note7/SGE7) and MicroSD. I've read that OP has NXP Amps & Dirac Audio for Speaker and the Dolby Atmos port works. From my experience with Dolby they have the best DSP engineering team even with software they make night and day difference. FHD doesn't really matter much since we hare now having laptops shipped with a QHD 120Hz panels and FHD being norm and UHD being waste in 17" screen space, Also less pressure/load on SoC / battery. Get it you won't regret it, Even self repairing (battery change when cycles are over) is a breeze with it.

Well I just learnt a few more things, Unfortunately google dropping these features off OP3 ( One, Two), SG7E also dropped these features (MHL, Slimport, Miracast, DLNA)
G5, v20, HTC10 all support Slimport and some maybe MHL too, OP3 does only have Miracast. They could have Slimport it's very easy to bake it into :(

Unless you have an internet connection one cannot connect the video out from the OP3 or other flagships because Miracast is laggy and doesn't work always since it's almost dead and the Chromecast needs Internet, Hell even the new Pixels don't have the VESADisplay standard 3.x to video], pay 1200USD for crippled junk, iPhones do have the Video out, ofc courtesy of Apple for the spec.
All this jank because of the USB Type C, All wanted an Apple like port for comfort, damn it cant they just plug in the way it should be ? Need all damn shortcuts for reversible and all...and there you go Industry gives you one but in trade for gimping all features over Micro USB when 2.0 that's why G5/HTC have most of all because its a USB 3.0 Type C & HTC10 is USB3.1. FFS Can't the people and corps stop being damn Apple for one instant ?!

Next up is the death of the Analog output 3.5mm jack with 360 degrees of freedom to a single port with high wear rate for all cables plus 2 degrees of regression with Digital output. RIP and for what ? Accessorization of Milking iSheeple, gets an iPhone 7 and still ship the damn cheapo DAC dongle to 3.5mm over lightning, LMAO....

@Ashtrix @bloodhawk I've purchased the OP3 now. I'm very excited to see how much better it will perform against my beloved Bananaphone.
I'm eager to find out how far I can push that one by adjusting clock speeds with Kernel Adiutor. Maybe I will replace the stock Thermal Pad with FujiPoly 14w/mk as I did with my Flex 2.

Generally there's nothing wrong with my Flex 2 after flashing MM 6.0.1 on it and replacing the Thermal Pad. Performance-wise it runs like a charm with 85k on AnTuTu. BUT I was not able to get rid of the input lags or microstutters while browsing and tapatalking. The 2gigs RAM are constantly used and by far not enough.
Unfortunately by switching to MM 6.0.1 I sacrificed root access. That's why I'm not able to use my free storage as cache and that's why I went with the OP3 this time. Otherwise I would have sticked with my good ol' Bananaphone a lil' bit longer!

I disagree with Carl Pei. AMOLED is very good for vibrant colors (read: not color accurate) but the longevity of blue OLEDs are very short (you'll see burn in) and the power consumption is actually quite poor for most web pages (which has white backgrounds). This is on top of the annoying tint of the AMOLED displays, and the strange pixel arrangements.

Pentile Matrix AMOLEDs are not good I semi-agree with that, The SGSII had RGB Matrix panel which was truly remarkable.
Yes the Phosphor burns into the panel a side-effect only way to fix it is to keep changing the UI, But I've used multiple AMOLED phones in the past & with little calibration (That tinting is caused by poorly calibrated panels and with android we can tweak it as for our needs and get rid of that, I've been there ikr), I've been impressed with the pitch blacks and battery saves a lot. I always use black themes with my Android which makes it absolutely fantastic on oled panels. Also the notifications on removing out of pocket is super cool and handy which are niche to oled ones and LCDs can't do that. And iirc OP3 has good color calibration that most reviewers pointed out, they even fixed that over saturated feel of oled's with sRGB option.

The newer Samsung AMOLED panels are the best OLED displays in the world, I can take them over any LCD for sure and we have this Apple rumor of shifting to OLED with iPhone 8 . Also Samsung SUHD - Quantum Dot OLED claims no burn-in for 10 years, we can expect the same come to future sammy flagships soon.

Actually the Carl's Opinion there was to debunk the rumor, I presume you got that but yeah AMOLED vs LCD, It's a bit of personal option thing.
