If they made one of these with a 6 inch screen I would be on it, but for now I'm enjoying my Nexus 6 too much

I understand why people like big phones. But anymore I'm ready for some good 4" phones with power so they don't lag and high-ish res and decent battery life. Big phones are a royal pain in my line of work

The Xperia Z3 Compact was the same size as an iPhone 5 (it had a 4.6" screen but a better screen-to-body ratio). It was widely loved on internet forums but my understanding is it's been a sales disaster for Sony. Same with the 4.7" Galaxy Alpha.

People with your preferences are outspoken but statistically very rare. That doesn't make your desires any less legitimate, but it does make it very tough for an OEM to cater to your needs without losing money in the process.

The OnePlus Two at $389 and the Moto X 2015 at $399 are heads and shoulders above everything else out there value-wise. The OnePlus has slightly better internals, the Moto has a slightly better screen, but overall, they really are they neck and neck in the race of who can best provide $700 of value in a $400 package.

I would have supported them, but again. No Verizon support, virtually makes it a useless phone for me.

I didn't mean that you personally should have bought them. I was more talking about the market as a whole, where those sorts of specific issues don't explain the phones' poor sales performance.

I have T-Mobile. I have jump 1 (two phones in a rolling 12 month period, no restocking fees, all I pay is tax and walk put the door)... And I love my Nexus 6. It's the perfect size and I've dropped it more times than i can count... Chucked it a couple times actually (Irish and German temper)... There's not a scratch on it even when I threw it so hard the UAG case popped off.

And the reservation system... Give me a break.

Honestly between this and the Moto X Style/Pure, I'd get the Moto. Dunno why but I would.

Eh I've not been too happy with Motorola. Their promised update of the unlocked Moto G was far too delayed, though they did roll out 5.1 onto my fiance's Moto G (instead of 5.0, 5.01/5.02 with the memory leaks). But the battery life and overall fluidity isn't a huge gain as what was "implied" from the Lollipop upgrade. If the original OnePlus drops, I might get that for her as a replacement phone as it is still a top notch phone for the price.
