It`s a prototype and is supposed to be able to last for a week, but it is most likely going to be a brick, will you buy one.

If you can't remember to charge your phone every night before bed, then you don't deserve the privilege of owning a smartphone.

My HTC One M8 usually dies at about 5pm, so I would love a large battery phone, so I can use it with heavy applications all day long. Also great for travelling and camping etc.

My Sony phone gets me 2-3 days battery life.

What if you actually need to use the phone heavily for a whole day? Modern smart phones would be called great in battery life if it can survive one day of screen on, let alone one day of heavy usage.

As for the 10000 mAh phone, I hope they put a proper camera into it since they have enough space now anyway. No more pinhole cameras please. At least give me something that matches a basic standalone digital camera.

That would be the exception - if your phone can last 2 days or more on a full charge, then there's no need to charge it every night.
Um, yeah - I have an M8. My phone gets me thru the day with heavy usage and then some.
Typically it goes off its charger at 8:30am when I leave for work. From 8:30am to 2pm, it's playing music off Pandora, either thru its speakers or over bluetooth to my car stereo. Then it sits with me at school when I'm at the Math Center. Usually then I am lurking around OT and such so I have the screen on quite a bit. I usually don't get home from school until after 10pm. So a full 14 hours of at least moderate usage drains my battery down to 25%. I consider that to be fairly good.

We have different usage patterns then. My requirement is the device should survive a day (15h+) with screen always on, something like a browser or a drawing program running, or doing a audio/video record.

With that said, I can always swap batteries like I'm doing now, so the chance for better cameras attracts me more than raw battery size.

The problem is more and more high end phones have the battery built in to allow them to be thin as possible, my HTC ONE M7 and Nokia 1020 both have the battery built in.

I don't think modern 5" flagship smartphones should get anything less than 1 day of battery.

God! 15 hours or more straight of recording audio/video. I don't think there's a camcorder that can do that.
