    Its definitely a step in the right direction with modularity as opposed to the train wreck aka G5

    That also means they're measuring it excluding the camera bulge (I know this because the camera module is flush with the cosmetic backs). Which is nonsense. That's like saying I have a 26" waist excluding my belly fat.

    I'm not upset the Moto Z has a camera bulge--it turns out it's an integral part of securing the backplates--but measurement of a device's thickness should always be at its thickest point.
