Yup, those nitwits had it for Android. It used to be that installing Outlook for Android would nag the crap out of you to install Cortana and I think Google threatened to remove it from the Google Play store if the Redmond Reprobates didn't knock it off with that foolish feces.
May the digi-slut find no rest; only an eternity of torment in the fires of digital hades.

I don't even use Siri on my iphone or Cortana on my desktop. Why would I even want to install this garbage?

I am not sure that anyone has a good answer for that one, LOL. Alexa is equally stupid/worthless. I think maybe this kind of silly crap might be popular among the very old and/or extremely deficient tech un-savvy people that like to feel as if they are doing something that is super high tech.

Agreed, I don't use Alexa either. I also don't keep any monitoring capable devices hooked up on my wifi. As soon as I receive any products that tell me I need to be connected to use it without a sound argument, it promptly goes back or is not purchased at all.

LOL, right? As if it never happened.

But, it's understandable that both of the kids that liked it are upset.

No where to go when the GA is so much better. I do use the assistant frequently although not with voice activation.
