    Hi all,

I have a Dell Venue 8 Pro 5830 but when power button is held for 4 seconds, I just get a LCD backlight and a quick screen flicker but nothing ever happens. I don't get the Dell logo or anything. I pulled the battery for a few minutes and tried again. Same thing. The charge LED sometimes goes solid white and then off so I imagine the battery is 100%.

My questions are... Has anyone had this problem and found a solution? is... is it worth replacing the motherboard to resell this thing? Or should I just sell it for parts?
