Just got this phone yesterday an I am simply blown away by the build quality, the 4300 mAH battery, and the camera is just something out of this world. It doesn't suffer from the grainy pics that the Galaxy phones suffer from when you zoom in.

also loving the aperture mode, basically, Portrait mode is for taking portrait pics of humans but aperture can give you the bokeh effect on object and it works 100% every time.

Did I forget to mention that it has a superb night mode that makes even pitch dark pics look bright!

Got the Huawei FreeBuds Lite with it as a gift

So far very pleased, more details will come soon and sample pics as I use it.

Meanwhile, here are a few good video reviews:

I'm sure the P30 Pro is a great phone, but the amount of ads for it is insufferable. I used to watch the Mate lineup with great interest. Nowadays, Huawei gets on my nerves. Does anyone else feel the same way as I do, or are the ads seen in your market tolerable?

Here in Dubai I only see them at the mall so it doesn't bother me. I don't watch TV nor listen to the radio as I'm allergic to ads so no it doesn't bother me since I don't see them although I have to admit, Huawei are sure on fire with these marketing campaigns trying to dominate the market.

Again, all I care about is a good phone with a superb camera and battery life and this phone does just that.

Follow me on Instagram, the latest pics (not the professional ones were taken with this phone, the pics at the gym, of my cat, etc.)

Yeah, I avoid ads to the best of my ability as well. I don't watch TV either and only listen to ad-free radio channels. Main way of seeing less Huawei ads for me would be to re-subscribe to YouTube Premium, but I'd still get peppered in public spaces and in cinemas.

Indeed, camera quality is my main shopping criteria too. Screen quality and software share second place for me. As I understand it, the P30 Pro is a beast in dimly-lit scenes and great for manual controls, but it doesn't always come out on top in daytime blind tests.

Nice way to get us to check out your shiny abs! :D Seriously though, great job and dedication! I like and respect how the serious overclockers and hardware enthusiasts on this board let their pursuit of greatness show in most elements of their life, not tech alone.

I am soon going to be an owner of a p30 pro as well. I need the camera for our business ventures. I am also moving away from my ipad. It cannot do what I need it to do so I am going with a surface Go LTE to replace it. My wife will inheret the ipad, and I will sell my iphone 8 to offset the cost of the Go lte.

Out of all the phones that I've owned, without exaggeration, this has to be the best camera phone out there. Period!

Here's one I took at the gym a few months ago:

You look like batman and I'm impressed with p30's raw camera power and details are really jaw-dropping.
Won't a real DSLR do the trick if you're a professional Photographer?
p30 does come close to DSLR but real DLSR should be miles better

Yes, I have two amazing real fuji cameras. I want something with me at all times with great imaging. Instead of hauling my big gear with me.
