I can't stand that piece of garbage assistant that randomly keeps popping up thinking I called her and also appears in the Camera app sometimes when I am trying to take a photo.

She is no different than Micro$h4ft's Cortana so here's how to disable her firstly, and secondly, we can remap that button to launch any app you want.

    1) Install Package Disabler Pro
    2) Enable its admin mode
    3) in the search bar, type Bixby and disable all but the things you see unchecked in the picture below because if we disable those, the Bixby button won't function altogether:

    4) Install Bixby Button Remapper

    5) Run it and enable the accessibility service

    6) Now choose what function you want for your Bixby Button. I chose Flashlight since I can launch the camera by double tapping on the power button quickly but feel free to choose whatever you think you use most

LOL. I refuse to purchase Samsung phones, so I won't have to worry about that sucky thing. Thanks for showing the people that have how to kill it.

Doesn't Bixby logo look like an All-seeing-Eye aka Telemetry Collector and Disposer.
Do you buy Apple phones, then?

The Illuminati of Android smartphones, LOL.
Oh good heavens, no. I am on my third iPhone provided by my employer and I think they are a joke. They do have a really decent camera, but otherwise I find nothing desirable about them. In my opinion they are extremely overrated and represent poor value for the price. But, I'm really glad that I have been able to form an objective opinion about them on my employer's dime over the past four years. I am really glad I never had to waste any of my own money on one to find out they suck.

I only buy inexpensive smartphones for the same reasons that BGA turdbooks are only a reasonable value if they are priced under $500. Disposable electronics filth should be priced according to what it is. It should not be a noticeable financially loss to toss one into the trash when it stops working or gets broken. Just remember to smash it to smithereens with a sledgehammer first so dumpster-divers cannot steal any personal information off of it.

i own iphone 7+, s8. siri is cool but limited. bixby is openworld but **** to recognize my voice. iphone is fluid but i prefer s8.
All electronic price are boosted.. even crap phone, all companies need an benefice otherwise its over. My main rule on electronics is always to buy what i can buy again if it broke...People saying it's an investment buying flagshit don't know what is in reality a true investment.. at the end it is just a lost as always.

Indeed. Anyone that considers electronics of any kind to be an investment is a fool.

Cars are an investment only if they reach a collectible status and are desirable models. Antiques and American muscle cars sell for many times their original value. Other than that, the value takes a huge hit as soon as final ownership paperwork is processed that takes it from being "showroom new" to second-hand.

Cars and electronics are about the same in terms of value loss, but cars are obviously much bigger dollar values. Kind of makes sense though. Most people are not willing to pay almost new prices for products that have already been sold and used by someone else. Being out of warranty also dramatically reduces the value of both cars and electronics.

People selling the used stuff want to recover as much money as possible, and people buying the stuff want to pay as little as possible. If all you are going to save is 10 to 20% buying used, it makes more sense to buy new instead. The possibility of buying someone else's nightmare or regret makes the risk too great to pay a reasonable price for it.

From a buyer's perspective, paying pennies on the dollar for something used is super intelligent and makes a lot more sense than spending more for something new. Selling for pennies on the dollar sucks if you are the seller. The best way to minimize your loss on used computers is to part them out. Under the right conditions you can make two to three times the used resale value of a complete machine selling the used parts. The same it true for cars, but doing that is a lot more difficult than it is with computer parts.

Here's an easier way, though no button remapping...
Step 1: get a shredder capable of destroying category H media.
Step 2: put your Gnusmas into it.
    Step 3: profi!

I thought Bixby was a guy. Or does he identify himself as a woman :D.
