    Interesting how the drop has been that big, but I think the article is a bit too dramatic. Xiaomi may have been dethroned by Huawei, Oppo, and Vivo, but it's not like they're now doomed to oblivion with no chance of recovery. 4th largest manufacturer in China is still a pretty big spot to hold, though it's not enough for a manufacturer primarily aiming at high-volume, slim margin sales. Short-term, the opening of several retail stores across China and the imminent launch of the Mi Note 2 should be of some help. MIUI also has more fans than most Android skins out there.

    As for the concern of spyware/spying surrounding domestic Chinese phone models, I flashed CyanogenMod on day one and haven't looked back. :p
