Doze and app permission control are what excite me more than anything else. I'm so sick of downloading a game and it needs access to my microphone and camera...

    Five key features:

    (1) A hundred feet tall.
    (2) A sailor.
    (3) In New York.
    (4) The most harmless thing, something loved from childhood.
    (5) Something that could never possibly destroy us.

You could use XPrivacy or CM all this time.

I'm still waiting for some form of Android 5.0 to hit my phone and my tablet. >:[

This is 1 thing I do find annoying about my first non Nexus Android phone in awhile, no instant updates from Google..

Lol. There is so much win in that post.

Although sadly, I'd bet a large portion of the people on this forum are too young to know what you're talking about.

I find it good policy to not trust anyone who doesn't recognize references to Ghostbusters, The Princess Bride, or Top Gun. It just never ends well.

Hopefully handset adoption on M will be at a decent speed. That's the one thing I'm going to miss from my Nexus, the ability to update to the latest OS right away, now that I have the Note 5 I fear that I'll be stuck on this OS forever :(

Samsung is pretty good about getting updates out for their flagships; it's their midrange and entry-level devices where updates are slow or nonexistent.

Eh, I have their flagship S-Pen tablet and I'm still stuck in 4.4.2, I haven't heard any news about a 5.1 or 5.0 release for my tablet.

HTC was the only vendor that pushed updates like a week or two after Google pushed the Nexus builds. Too bad they aren't really contenders these days...
