    An Andorid device is usually signed in or connected with a Google account . I 'd like to know if Google account tends to backup everything you work with the Android device?

    Does Google account automatically create a backup of EVERYTHING that includes app data and everything you done to the device? In case of the phone lost or stolen

    If Auto-Sync is enabled, then it will auto backup on Wi-Fi.

    I don't think it backs up all your files, does it? Or is there an option to back up to Google drive?

    Since I work and store data intensively with my Android mobile phone, and a loss or stolen phone could happen at anytime. That's why a regular full backup of everything is necessary

    If a Google account does not backup everything on a device, how about an Apple iPhone. Will it backup everything?

    As mentioned a lot of local data is device-specific and blindly backing up to the cloud can mess up things no matter which operation system it's running on top of. Your best options remains to be using modern Android while sticking to API 23+ apps. But that still requires some user interaction per-app and is not guaranteed to work depending on the app's design.

    Manually doing local full file system backups on an Android (with root access) will be a more reliable approach. But if you really want to protect important work data, stay out of proprietary file formats and use a general purpose backup solution.
