Between the new XPS 12, the Surface Pro 4, the VAIO Z Canvas, the iPad Pro w/ keyboard folio, and the Pixel C w/ keyboard dock, this form factor is REALLY taking off.

I still think 4K on a screen this size is silly, but not in a lame, giant-wing-on-a-Civic sort of silly, instead in a that's-totally-excessive-and-totally-awesome like a Ford Raptor sort of silly.

Didn't like the Vaio Z. Looks very unwieldy. Especially the hard keyboard/cover. It will be interesting to see which tablet has the better stylus performance. Be it the iPad Pro, XPS 12, or Surface Pro. The only thing I don't like about the XPS 12 is it's size. 12 inch tablet is too big for my liking. If it's thin enough, with a small bezel, then it's definitely a front runner.

With the 16:9 screen it's a non-starter. Even Microsoft understands this by now, as Apple has from the start. Sure, some people may want to use it to watch movies, but no serious tablet user has any interest in this idiotic form factor, at least if they have ever tried to use a tablet with a 16:9 screen. Turns out these things are pretty much unusable in portrait mode, meaning for note-taking and such. With that, the professional user market is gone. All the rest will have very little incentive not to just go with a cheap Android, or even an Apple tablet. Bottom line, this thing is DOA.

    Killjoy... :vbmad:

Or, perhaps there are some people who prefer landscape mode for working.
