China cheap tablet, refurbished iPad, or a brandnew iPad

I will mostly only use the tablet for a lot of texting and reading, e.g wechat, whatsapp, and facebook, so I may not want a smartphone in which the screen is usually much smaller.

If I buy an iPad, i will probably go for a mini because I like it's screen size.

However, China tablet like kubi T8 is super cheap with all the great features like 1920x1200 IPS screen together with 8 cores cpu etc... which is only around USD 100 here, running on Android 5.x

Many people advise me that cheap but powerful Chinese tablets.

I have little worries about tablet designed in China that is so inexpensive, I am worried that it will knock off very quickly.
I also have little OCD for Apple products simply because I have a good impression for it, I always feel so cool having an iPad, and probably a more long lasting device, but it will take you away more bucks

Ok, that's a pretty random requirement, so I don't feel bad about misunderstanding it.

Get either a refurbished iPad or the Android tablet. I would buy the iPad, if you can afford it. I have a few Android devices and they've all exceeded two years of ownership - even though they have all been treated with very little care. The good thing is that if you break, lose or damage it you can just use some of the money you saved to buy another one - or spend it on having fun/getting girls/travelling etc... Try and get an Android tablet with at least 2GB of RAM.

@kenny1999 Chinese tablets differ greatly in terms of quality. Some are good, and with others it's always a lottery. Then, there are outright bad models. Something like Cube or Xiaomi will give you decent quality, I suggest considering one of these brands.

Yes, here is a tablet that is T8 from Cube with all the most competitive hardware sold at around $100 in China. I am worried that it's too cheap and will knock off quickly

@kenny1999 price has no correlation with item quality; they all cost damn cheap to manufacture.

Funny thing is that if you had an android tablet in the first place, you could have multiple users. A feature that I love on my phone to quickly switch between "school mode" and "entertainment mode".

That aside, I would read the reviews and see how people think about it. Some cheap tablets are surprisingly good for the price.
