As much as I dislike apple, this is pretty impressive.

I just updated my old 6s that my son uses now. I went in and loaded ios 14.5 and then checked the battery health. It's still 89% after almost 6 years of constant usage. I bought it in Oct 2015. Impressive that, 1. it is getting the current iOS update, and 2. it's battery still kicks butt. It lasts a full day on moderate usage without charging. I am sick of iOS as an operating system and I will never get that type of value from any android phone as even pixels are left in the dust after 3 years. My only regret was not keeping my iphone 8 since my 11 has all the connectivity issues my 8 had and the reason I ditched it.

 

I had quite a reversal on my mom's iphone 7 with battery health 83%, it never lasted more than 2 hrs with zero usage. Had a do a full wipe and loaded 13.7.

 

well, I am going by what I am experiencing. it's a killer phone actually. My 11 still has 100 percent battery health after 8 months of use.

 

Yours has a qualcomm modem whereas Asian model use Intel modem.

 

I will sell it to you when I get my note 10 lite!

Yes. My iPad is already gone. As soon as my note gets here the iPhone is sold.

Even S21U is getting choppy gameplay or stuttering? Very hard to believe it since its hardly a year old and running Android 11 OneUI 3.x

 

no its great but apple tends to have the faster chip 60hz vs 40hz gaming

 

I would not get ANYTHING apple. I hate my phone now. They are going backwards more every update. It's unstable, faceID is trash, screen is terrible (you can't see it in sunlight), it's choppy performance wise, for the size of the screen - the phone is gargantuan, Only good thing is battery life.

No problem. Loved my 6s, my 8 until about 3 months before I got rid of it...now the 11. It's crap. What a joke of a phone....well not phone, but mainly software.

I bought it thinking it would be like my iPhone 8 but "better". It's not. since 13 IOS has been a mess, faceID sucks, I am constantly having connection issues, other usability issues etc.

 

Have you tried Lean launcher? I think the higher latency could be attributed to oneUI. If the experience gets better than oneUI then it could be pesky telemetry or unwanted apps. Try this app https://github.com/joshchoo/JankBenchX/releases
The more janks you have the worst UX experience will be! Ideally it should 0 janks and dropped frames. Not sure if it works on adaptive refresh.

I did tell you this long back once 14.1 was released. The experience was getting worse day by day such as weak LTE speeds even with -88 to -95dBm strength.

 

Started before that because it was happening with my 8 and thats why I switched to the 11. So it was happening before 14.
