I Bought an MXq box running Android 4.4 and had an S805 SOC while it can play 10bit H.265 HEVC video`s it cannot play 10bit H.264 that is commonly used for Anime video`s so that was no good since i watch a lot of Anime.

So i did a bit of research and found that a Soc manufacture called Rockchip has a chip called RK3229 SOC and it play`s 10bit H.265 HEVC and 10bit H.264 video`s and the SOC is in a lot of low price TV Boxes.

So ordered an half height Mini MXQ box from Amazon UK for £20, I got 2 one upstairs, and they work great, and come already rooted.

So if you only stream Anime you dont need to worry, but if you download the files to watch make sure your next device can play 10bit H.264 video`s

Also what Android Video software make a big difference, I have found no one video player that will play all files, I have narrowed it down to MX Player and Kodi

I have tried it a few times, yesterday was the last time and did not find it very good very few of my test video acceptably, black screen or very jerky would play, now my test files are 10bit 720p and 1080p H.264 and H.265, it`s most likely great at playing standard mp4 files.

A lot of expensive Tv boxes, some really sweet graphics, I don't know what video types the apple supports, or even if you can play your own video`s or just stream video`s

A lot of new Tv boxes use the Amlogic S905 64bit SOC while it can play 10bit H.265 HEVC, it cannot play 10bit H.264 (use mostly in Anime videos)
