    Did I read correctly that Honor can still use android and get updates, access to the play store etc?

    Even though it's close relation to HuaWei... Honor is marketed under their own name. Just like 1+ which is closely related to OPPO and RealMe and Vivo.
    Should U.S. Government wants to bend them all, they should death sentence Dell and HP as well. As all components are Made in China, and those could be bugged to every buyers, users in the world!

    So. They are a sister company to huawei, if I were at the helm of huawei I would just start putting Honor elite phones out or something. There are lots of ways to work around the orange dimwit

    There are lots of ways to work around anything, dumping your resources into a sister company because it still has access, but could lose said access as soon as someone brings it up seems to me, the furthest thing from a wise investment.

    I think Huawei should use the same tactics bytedance did with the orange buffoon. Just state that blocking Huawei will cost him millions of votes. Bam, 24 hrs later the ban was lifted.

    Exactly the same as dealing with my son when he was 4. Clean up your room and you get the ice cream.
