    http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/mobile-phones/1403897/adblock-browser-arrives-on-ios-and-android

A number of websites refuse to show media if they detect any addblock software as they pay from the site via adverts, so i suppose this new addblock browser will have problems as well.

If you pay for your mobile data by the megabyte, adverts can cost you a lot of money, also they make the webpage take longer to load and can make scrolling really jerky, also adverts require more cpu power to process so your battery will run down quicker.

The android version of the addblock browser is at the link below if you want to give it a go, I dont do iOS sorry.

Google will pull that quickly just like they did with all the ad blocker software.

Its by the people who made Adblock Plus... Unfortunately it uses Firefox for its engine... You can get the old proxy based Adblock Plus from their site. Once Google inevitably pulls their browser, you'll be able to find it on their site as well.

Wow... I never used ABP on Android before... This is incredible how fast it made the browser!

For a real demonstration, go to xda-developers and try to navigate, note the insane lag and annoying ads... Then grab the old ABP (not the browser, the link below it), set up the proxy and launch chrome and visit XDA again. =O

Ethrem, in your opinion, is it better than AdAway?

I don't care for AdAway because it's host-based blocking. I've had it break pages entirely. Every time I get a custom ROM that comes with it, I immediately freeze it with Titanium Backup or remove it if I can.

I started having issues with my connection with ABP so I stopped using it like two days ago. I don't know what broke but it wasn't pretty. My WiFi started saying it couldn't get on the Internet and it went away when I uninstalled it.

Wow! not only this AdBlock extension removed all the annoying ads which kept coming in my way. But it made browsing on my S6 edge+ very snappy!

    Thanks a lot! Rep given.

PS: I wouldn't use their browser as I like how my favorites / passwords are all synced in Chrome so this extension is a treasure!
