I'm a trucker, I currently have the Boost Mobile $60 unlimited data plan w/ 8Gb of tethering and 2 weeks grace period to pay the bill.

It's been decent, but the selection of phones is crap, I'm eyeing the LG G5 or something similar as upgradeable storage is a must, and coverage in more rural areas is spotty or in the case of Nebraska, Dakotas, Utah etc, non existent even in major cities or the interstate.

I have US Cellular specifically because of its rural coverage. US Cellular coverage map: http://www.uscellular.com/coverage-map/coverage-indicator.html

As for the phone itself, the Nexus 5X is the best intersection of quality/performance and affordability out there right now. You'll save hundreds over something like an LG G5 and get software updates for far longer. And US Cellular will activate a Nexus 5X bought unlocked from Google Play.
