    Hello:

    I'm currently building a laptop from xoticpc and want to get your opinions on whether the anti virus package is worth it for $25 or would you rather upgrade and get Bitdefender, kaspersk or others of that caliber for the extra price.

    "McAfee AntiVirus Plus - Essential anti-virus protection for your PC (Not Installed) ( + 25 )"

    no, PC Builders usually get a commission from these AV companies, what they recommend is totally irrellevant to how good an AV is. Just get your own.
