    Hello,
I've been infected by this virus and i think i managed to get rid of the files.
I scanned my laptop with nod32 and then kaspersky's online scanner and there werent any files detected.
How can i be sure that i got rid of it completely?
There's still a registry entry with that name.
    Thanks.

Moved to Security & A/V section.

Theres no guaranteed way that you got rid of it completely. Its possible it could be hiding somewhere else in your system.

Restart and check it doesnt re-appear again

reinstall windows if u have the disc, u can keep the current file structure intact but the windows system files will be all deleted and reinstalled....!! maybe the repair windows feature does the same thing.. :p
download kaspersky and activate it with a demo key, u will have full functionality for 30 days, and then run a scan at maximum protection....try ad aware 2007's free version too, as it ll have full scan functionalities even in the shareware version..!!

Instead of AdAware I'd try SuperAntispyware and Malwarebytes'Antimalware.
A clean install is the prefered way to go though, it will take a few hours but then you will ease your mind and have a clean and fresh install.
Download links can be found in my signature/sticky.
    Cheers.

@bin: if you did a quick format and reinstalled XP, you should be fine. During a quick install the drive just isn't checked for bad sectors.

@ArmageddonAsh: If you meant to type svchost.exe then, yes, it's normal to have several instances running at once.

Type tasklist /svc | more in a command prompt window to see the process names associated with each instance of svchost.exe.

svchost.exe is is just a generic host process name for services that run from DLLs....
The Svchost.exe file is located in the SystemRoot\System32 folder. The main registry key involved at bootup is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SvcHost
Each Svchost.exe session can contain a grouping of services. This grouping of services permits better control and easier debugging. Due to being widespread among running processes, svchost.exe has long been a common disguise used by malware to hide its presence from the user.
