    hi.

So a friend of mine installed cyberdefender as an anti-spyware remover. However, cyberdefender is actually spyware. I managed to remove the cyberdefender from the computer. I also ran ccleaner. However, the internet is extremely slow. The next step I'm going to do is install superantispyware and run a scan.

Is there anything else i could do to fix the slow internet speed?

Make sure to read/follow instructions on this page of dslreports.com, if you want to use Dr. TCP.

so i noticed that when my friend opens up internet explorer, right when its opened a black dialog box (similar to the cmd prompt) will popup and disappear. is it possible that the internet is slow because of leftover spyware from cyberdefender?
