I'll be using kaspersky as my anti-virus....

Now I need anti-spyware. I guess I need one that actively scans and whatever else I have is on command? What would you suggest that would go well with kaspersky av? You can basically have as many anti-spywares as you want, right? How many different ones is recommended? On my old comp I used adaware and spybot s&d but I don't see those recommended here much...are they any good?

I'm also looking to get a free firewall if they're better than windows...What firewall would go well with kaspersky av?

Any other security stuff I should get besides av, as, and firewall?

    Thanks!

    Greetings:

For a free firewall, I've heard Comodo Firewall at http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/ is good.

Until I make a decision on http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=303988 (which also requires them to support 64-bit), I most likely will be using Comodo (which others recommend a lot in the forums here).

I've been testing Super Anti-Spywhere from http://www.superantispyware.com/index.html on my desktop, and will be using it on my laptop when it comes in (though I will probably go with the professional version).

    Thank you.

Spybot-SD, SUPER AntiSpyware, and MalwareBytes are the three best I've used.
If you have a router, then a firewall is not necessary and will only slow down your system.
