The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

They're way too creative until the TVCs became terrible lame.
However, this is the 1st time I saw AV/IS TVCs like that.
    Norton is quite something. LOL.

This is definitely not targeted at the business segment.

Actually, it makes sense now. I wasn't aware of such separate department within the company.

Commercials aren't designed to make you run out and buy some product, they're designed to make you remember the product's name. Then later, when you're in a world where you don't know anything about anything, you'll buy the name that's familiar to you: NORTON!

    Possible...

Although I think the only advertisment I ever followed was one for a book by an author whose books I read before - i.e. it informed me of a new book :)
