The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    there is a issue with nortons 2009 where in the last of the three steps it will not do a live update. the pulse updates still work though. there is a fix for this. download this:

    ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/liveupdate/tools/2009/coRstLUZ.exe

    run as administrator in vista or normal in xp. now run live update again and the issue should be fixed. any questions let me know, hope this helps i had this issue on 2 machines from customers and this works like a charm
