    just wondering...

kind of looks like an actual anti-virus is pointless since I'm well protected with Comodo + on-demand scan capabilities of MBAM. Should I keep my AV for an extra layer of protection?

I currently use MSE but are there others that I should consider for peace of mind, or is this enough?

MSE is sufficient for general protection, but as you will hear around here, your best protection is being vigilant.

Your setup will do just fine, combined with common sense and keeping programs updated.
There's no need to change the AV, only if you enjoy testing different programs.

I use MSE + MBAM + Comodo and find it to be sufficient for my needs. It pretty much covers everything. Of course nothing is gonna beat Internet smarts and know how in terms of protecting you from malware and other threats.

IMO you are better of running the Comodo AV than MSE. I personally wouldn't bother with any AV at all, coz MBAM + comodo FW are so good at what they do.

You might consider that - lightens the system too! :D
