You'll want the x86 version for Vista 32-bit.
I've never used Norton UAC tool myself, but I do know that some 'security software forum veterans' at Wilders Security have used it for a long time on Vista.
They are quite content with this little program.
Keep in mind though that this tool will also report back to Symantec on it's usage (if you mind about such stuff).

It used to work well on vista. I haven't tried it on W7. Actually it wouldn't even install on my W7 system.

Used it on Vista - worked well - keep in mind if desire to do the in-place upgrade to WIN 7 - any program you have "enabled" with Norton UAC will not function in WIN 7 - you'll need to uninstall it before you upgrade. Found this out the hard way and had to install WIN 7 again (which was OK as a clean install, but caused extra work re-loading numerous apps.)

Nope - would not even install when tried, so just leaving UAC on and working with it. Assuming in future they'll make a WIN 7 Version (hopefully). Was a rather handy little tool.
Just wanted to caution folks if they were doing an in-place upgrade - needs to be uninstalled.... else you'll end up doing a clean install. (like I had to and really did not want to at the time)

i used instead taskplaner to start something elevated at boot. i prefer that solution.
other than that, uac shouldn't really occur often on win7 in daily usage. a lot of the reoccuring dialogs can get fixed if one knows a bit about the system. but nowadays, after years of vista, most software evolved to not need it anymore anyways. just ask for specific apps and how one could solve the issue, if it really still is one.

anyways, the app was quite nice for vista. better than disabling uac alltogether, at least.
