This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    i have this weird process running...it definitely is NOT normal. google doesn't say anything definitive about this program. but its NOT supposed to be there. according to the Prevx site, its a kind of malware/spyware/hijacker :confused: that affects AVs.

    what do i do about it? it seems to be causing my COMODO AV to run 100% when the computer is idle. stops as soon as i shake the mouse.

    I would suggest running scans with either Malwarebyte's AntiMalware or Hitman Pro and see if they pick up anything.

    Note: For Hitman Pro, you would need an active internet connection while running the scan.
