    Hi just come across this on my task manager and ive never seen it befor and i just updated my protection on my computer to norton internet security 2009

    so i am just wondering if it has anything to do with that :confused:

    It's Norton. Mine has two of this process running. I am using NIS 2009 too,

    ive looked it up on the net and some say its a virus not to sure it is though
    my dad had it on his computer but removed it

    ^With NIS2009, you'll see 2 processes running in Task manager, named ccsvchst.exe (Symantec Service Framework Executable) as already mentioned.
    Does your dad run a Symantec/Norton program?
    If so, there is no need to 'remove' it, if he doesn't use any Symantec/Norton program, it shouldn't be running though.
