I have been having a problem with my Dell studio 15 with vista home premium. It keeps deleting my bridge.dll file for MATLAB and s117.dmp for FLUENT. I have read other posts saying that some security software deletes them because there are some viruses that have the same name. My desktop that I have at home with XP doesn't delete these files and has the same AVG software. I can't figure out what is happening with these files. Has anyone ever had a problem like this before?

Upload those files to the security software company which products you use and tell them their product flags those files as a flase positive.
It also seems that you are using a setting that automatically deletes suspected files.
If possible, choose a setting that allows to quarantaine the file so you can put it back.
I don't know what you are using but can't you use a setting to not scan those files anymore?
    Cheers.
