    im really liking it. its super light and has no bloat. updates seem really good so far and they will be adding their firewall which i really like anyway to it for a suite later on. if you are looking for a light fast av you may want to give it a trial i have not had any issues with it at all and it found everything i had in my resources here i threw at it.

    ill post back as the trial goes along and let you know how its going. ill also be visiting their virus labs soon!! ill have full update after that as well..

    bought it, intending to use it on four laptops but ended up keepi9ng it on just one machine after some install issues (which sunbelt did resolve).
    Then it tried and failed to install its latest iteration and kept going in an install loop that froze my laptop -- did a system restore and un-installed the whole program in frustration.
    Your AV/AM program shouldn't be giving you constant install issues -- very promising program but frustrated that it has re-current install problems.

    You seem to be the exception rather than the norm; VIPRE installs painlessly & flawlessly on every one of the systems I've installed it on, ranging from XP, Vista x86 & Vista x64.

    appreciate the feedback: as I noted, the first time I had issues Sunbelt worked over several days to resolve things -- just frustrating to have the new update lock my system into a loop and didn't have the energy to be the beta test guinea pig this time around -- will re-install if they do come up with a fix
    thanks

    Took it for a spin;

    Strengths are its light footprint, heuristics and its fast scan speeds.

    Weaknesses; it is unsuited for those on slow connections because of the sizes of the initial program download and the first update package. Further, no official confirmation of detection rates.

    But since it is still maturing, my guess would be that it is in Tier 2/3 for detection with AntiVir/KAV being in Tier 1.
