    "WindowsUpdateService.exe - No Disk" - error!! HELP!

    Just turned on my laptop and randomly got this error:

    Everytime I go to click one of the options, it brings the box back up again. I have no discs in my laptop and when I press Ctrl,Alt and Delete, and go to processes and try to end it, it tells me my computer will automatically shut down if I choose to end it.

    What do I do? HELP!

    Windowsupdateservice.exe IS NOT a windows program. It is a virus.

    Reboot into safe mode and clean up your system

    Well, one could write book on that....simple answer, download malwarebytes, spybot search and destroy, update both. Run them.

    just use malwarebytes and superantispyware ... spybot is not so good anymore.
