    Hello everyone,
some of you may have noted - I'm a KIS 2009 fan :D

    Here my little question:
I'm running KIS 2009 with its firewall - this replaces the Windows Firewall.

    But:
Does this mean I can diasble the Service "Windows Firewall"??

    Thanks for any replys!

Yes, you can disable Windows Firewall and, in fact, you should. It's a bad idea to run two firewalls at once due to conflicts.

Well the actual Firewall is disabled (in the WIndows security centre) - I'm asking whether I can disable the service.

Its the same with Windows Defender - if you deactivate it in the program you don'T deactivate the service.
