    Which is the best antivirus? can i use eset nod32 antivirus and windows defender at a same time?

    i am using eset nod32 antivirus which is just 30 days trail version and also using windows defender. both are active and they are also set to update automatically. now my ques is, will i face any prob for these antivirus that i am using at a same time on a machine.??
    one more thing which one is now the leading antivirus now? can i be relax by using eset32 antivirus and windows defender?? pls reply in details.. :)

    There are lots of answers to this question if you look around the board or do a search.

    Personally I use MSE which I chose after doing a bit of research, it's readily available off the miscrosoft website, it's free and it runs very smoothly with the computer with no real fuss.

    Somehow I recently got some serious viruses on this laptop and MSE didn't prevent them from coming on in the first place and was unable to delete them successfully either but it did let me know, via a full scan which problems I had and I suppose knowing a virus is on your system is half the battle.

    I've noticed that MSE can be a problem with some malware.
    For example, fake av's (the ones that let you know you have hundreds of viruses in your computer and want to take your money in the process) can be a difficulty for MSE to detect... let alone remove.
    Malwarebytes works well against these types of threats though, so its not a big deal.
    Not sure, how Avast or Avira would have handled those programs... but most of the time, MSE runs pretty good and I experience 0 issues myself.

    I'm using MSE along with Malwarebytes and never had a problem.
