I don't normally download anything from sources not reputed enough. However, I really want to download a particular version of game that has retired for many years and I have totally NO way of buying it. There are plenty of sources but none of them are trusted. I am so worried that they could be malicious. What is the standard and the recommended way of scanning a file to make sure that it is virus-free? Thanks

Guess what, we're not giving advice on software piracy and how to do it safely.
