I have used Norton for used and its pretty good but there have been a few times when I have gotten very bad viruses on my comps and they have crashed. I have a buddy that says Bitdefender is one of the best but I have never heard of it. Which one should I get and which one should I stay away from?

Really? I have had problems with older versions of NAV. Like not detecting viruses and what not. Is the new 2009 all that much better? I was using 2005 I think.

Norton Internet Security 2009 is awesome and marvelous!
Very low resources and high detection rate.
But all the older version of Norton were dumbed and known as freaking resources hog.
