    Hey guys,

I just upgraded to Norton Internet Security 2010 and used Google to search. When I still had NIS 2009 about an hour ago, Norton SafeWeb was enabled and I still had those security symbols next to the search results (like the sample pic below):

However, with NIS 2010 now, I'm on Google and no symbols are appearing next to search results. I'm using IE7 and have the Norton toolbar displayed. On the "Norton" sign on the toolbar, I have Norton SafeWeb enabled.

Does anyone know how I can fix this? For all the new NIS 2010 users...Is Norton SafeWeb working for you?

Well, it seems that no one experienced the same problem. Anyways, I was able to fix it myself, and for any SafeWeb users who may experience this in the future, you can try the same solution.

I'm not sure if it was an IE7 problem, but the first thing I did was to upgrade to IE8. After upgrading, the problem was still there.

I then just used the Norton Removal Tool (latest version) and temporary uninstalled NIS 2010. After re-installing it again, an resetting the settings on IE8, Norton SafeWeb worked fine.
