Potentially Unwanted Programs slow down your system and can be harmful: Here’s what can you do about it

So far, there are only 2 AVs that I've seen that block PUPs, Emsisoft Anti-Malware and ESET NOD32.

When I go to fix a friend or family members' computer that's complaining that his PC is acting strange or slow, he never has a virus, it's always a bunch of PUPs, that's causing havoc on their system so IMO PUP detection is very important especially for the non-tech savvy people who install programs by blindly click the "Next" button.

    Try Unchecky.
It will automatically uncheck unwanted PUPs from installers. You can Adwcleaner to get rid off PUPs.
