This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    this AV is more of a nuisance than a convenience / protection. It's full of false positives by the web filter and I got tired of slow performance every time I format then having to reach out to support to whitelist files. It's like it blacklists everything until it's whitelisted.

    Glad I didn't put it on my machine after its most recent clean installation of Windows. NOD32 is working well so far. I really liked Webroot's fast scans, lack of nag screens, and lightness (never saw it use more than 10 MB of RAM), but that doesn't do you much good when it's flagging your stuff as a false positive.
