I'm using Vista Firewall, ThreatFire and Avira Antivir.
Yesterday i started a system scan with Avira, it has found 4 viruses, i moved them to quarantine, then removed. then i started a second scan and no viruses were found.

Now i started BitDefender online scanner through IE, he started to update virus def. files but said that some updates failed. but i clicked an option to start scan anyway.
Now it has made a half scan, and in statistics window it says that "At least one of the infected files could not be disinfected or deleted".

I go into Detected problems section and there are: files with status "clean" and 3 other files in folder: Temporary internet files/Content.IE5 : one file with "deleted" status, but other file with "update failed" status and another one with "infected with: Troyan.Agent.AHDK".

    1. How could i delete these two viruses?
    2. As i understand they are more malware than viruses, but how could they got in my pc as i'm using triple secure system? but frankly - i have turned off Vista firewall for a day recently. maybe i should install Comodo with defense+ off ?
    Any Help appreciated.

    1. Either use HijackThis and post the log on their website, or clean install.
    2. You downloaded something.

IMO it is absolutely crucial to have some firewall in place -- either Windows Firewall or a 3rd party firewall -- at all times when you are connected to the internet or even a local network.

Also... do you have UAC on or off? And Windows Update?

If neither Avira nor BitDefender can get rid of all your Malware, I suggest a reinstall. System Restore may also be an option... but since you seem to have had a number of pests in there, I'd suggest reinstalling.

    Lithus,
    Thanks, I'll try HijackThis.
Yes, i downloaded and download a lot.
    swarmer,
i have turned UAC off. Windows Update - it is on.
    flipfire
trojan remover, ok, i'll google it.

I downloaded and download a lot, especially different hd and sd trailers, teasers. I know that Avira has an option to check every downloaded file, but it would be inconvenient for me.

I think you should try hijack this and if ever you can used AVG And antivera I have been using both and I can say that it works fine with me. Last time I have some virus and antivera is very fast in blocking them.

Try SUPERantispyware. It should give you a clean system.

I'd be very suspicious of Lingvo and Flash Get. I read somewhere (lost the link and now can't find it) that Flash Get can possibly show up as a false positive when using Avira.

j-f, I suggest, to be sure, you post at a site which has folks who specialize at this sort of thing. There are several, one of which is here (Hijackthis forum). Read their forum rules/stickies, etc, and they'll be able to give you a good read on this. Good luck.
