    Virus Caused my c:\windows\system32\rundll32.exe

    c:\windows\system32\rundll32.exe

    i get that when i try to press anything related to windows. Anything else I have to look for the program in the HDD and click it to open. Except firefox and wireless connectivity. It did have a virus that got into most of it I was able to delete it but Im pretty sure it got into my registry and got the rundll32. No i cannot run CMD will not let me.

    i tried putting the xp disc and clicking setup then trying to repair but it doesnt have that option for me. IF anyone has any suggestions that would be great. I really dont want to format.

    unfortunately i have already tried this. IT wont let me open cmd in regular mode. I go into safe mode with cmd and tried it said it worked booted up nothing.. still stuck at where im at, ima try again.
