I was wondering if I need a specific uninstall tool to completely delete Avira from my system..or can I just use windows or CCleaner uninstaller? I'm going to replace it with NIS and just dont want any conflicts...thanks for the help!

You can uninstall Avira using traditional way, after that, you can run CCleaner to clean the Registry. Then, restart the Laptop. Generally, Avira is very smooth or very kind. It won't mess up with your Norton Internet Security. So, install NIS and have fun.
NIS is the problem when uninstalling actually. When you want to remove NIS, you need to download specific tools for 100% wipe-out.

If there are still traces of it in your system, try this.
