Someone stole my debit card info VERY recently and tried to buy something. Bank caught it, in process of stopping it NOW.

I can't think of anyway anyone would have gotten the info. I believe my computer is safe, I know what I'm doing on the internet. Any surefire way to check? Again, I don't know if this is the source.

Have you tried doing a full scan with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware?

Sorry I can't think of any programs other than that..

I'll have a go at Malwarebytes. I already did a full scan with MSE and didn't get anything.

Reset your ISP login/email password, router (Wi-Fi) password along with your SSID and pretty much every other password that you can think of, to every website that has your card's information but yes you need a clean computer to do this, not this machine for sure.

You should contact somebody more experienced to investigate this. Just freeze the info on that computer for a while if they ask you to and don't use internet on it.

I would recommend this: QFX Software - Download KeyScrambler
Plus as others have said a clean install if believe the computer was the source.
The free version works very well.

Thanks for all the tips guys -- although now I'm beginning to suspect it wasn't a computer source. Still continuing to check things out though.

Malwarebytes is what I tend to use because I use it to fix the problems of others on a regular basis.

On a separate note... it's a debit card. It wouldn't surprise me to find out your card was skimmed recently somewhere else... especially when you hear how large numbers of people are defrauded because of a single employee.

Review your recent purchases, particularly online ones from retailers you don't normally shop at - that may help you narrow down the culprit.

for example if your a guy, and you get a bunch of purse purchases from claire's then i would assume its a woman (maybe a waitress that you don't always see)

Well, if you want to set things up so you don't have to worry about such things, just install a version of Linux alongside Windows (you don't even need 8GB of space for it to run fine) then do your online transactions with Linux only. Simple, easy, and surefire

This is what I'm leaning towards.

Yep, I did. The only recent online purchases I've made from a non-typical website was from rockabilia.com. Although they seemed legit and I got exactly what I ordered on time and proper.

    Mozilla Firefox 3.6 w/ NoScript w/ AdBockPlus.

As far as I know, no. I've only made purchases from within Firefox.

There is nearly no way to detect some keyloggers like kernel keyloggers once they are installed in your computer
you could still try with coranti, gdata or vba32 but I suggest you a clean install of your OS, change your password and find ways to stop any keyloggers from getting into your computer at the first place.
But the problem could be somewhere else. Look at which web site you gave your banking information, from which computer, which place did you go last to withdraw your cash etc..

Do you buy gas with the debit card? Card skimmers on gas pumps is common, you should only use credit cards at gas pumps or cash.
