This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Turning off Windows Firewall when running Comodo?

    I've heard there can be a conflict... so I went to turn off Windows' Firewall, but then it yells at me for making myself "vulnerable to hackers and malicious software..."

    How can I make it understand that I'm using a 3rd party firewall instead?

    I'm running Vista Business 64.

    try turning off UAC, in control panel. And i had same problems 5 minute shut down times lol.
