This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Turn off Avira auto update?

    I checked in the program and searched here, but I can't find a way to turn it off. I have 4 exams coming up using a special software and I'm afraid if it pops up during the exams, it will mess up the exam soft program my school uses. Thanks.

    Open Avira -> Extras -> Configuration -> Check expert mode box -> General -> Update
