Hello, I have a question related to an antivirus scan.

I use the home edition of Avast. Every time Avast scans it detects a movie file that I have deleted a long time ago. Avast says: "unable to scan".

What is wrong? Is this file still around or what?

yes, this file is infected by the virus. so update the anti virus software and again try to scan the computer.

if needed download the trojan remover from the internet and scan the computer in safe mode.

before scanning the computer create a restore point and take the back up of the registry.
