Hello! 1st post so.... sorry in advance.. :)

I access the internet using a TMobile dongle. Every day now, and today 3 times I will connect and within a minute the meter is display a massive upload... 3GB in 10 minutes at reported rates of 85MBps... Seems impossible... I have to unplug and reboot before it will work again... Have I been hacked? Trojan...? Im a musician not a computer tech... Can anyone help please?!
    Very Many thanks in advance
    Mo

You said it yourself. It's impossible at the moment to upload at 85Mbps using your TMobile dongle. More than likely, it's probably a software issue. However, do run the usual slew of virus and malware scans.

You don't have to be a computer tech to be an informed computer user.

Sounds more like a glitch to me. Give TMo a call

    3GB in 10mins is ridiculous.

    maybe 85 mbps...

anyway, yeah, that connection speed doesn't exist over any connection tmobile offers. nevertheless, you should sort this out with them especially if they charge you for bandwidth.

-> As has been suggested, call T-Mobile and ask them to check your data usage.

I'm sure they can do it - and if they claim data protection then throw a bunch of intelligently worded insults at them (i.e. phrased in a way such that they cannot take you to court for insulting them)
