Hey Cin', do you use this and Avira together?

Currently using only Avira, does SAS protect well for Spyware?

I used to have SAS (the free version - on demand scanner without real time protection) with Avira and there were not any problems. Both are great programs by the way.

Yup, I use both of them together, they work just great! ;) And, I use latest Version of Avira, Version 9 :D They are good blend together! ;)

They certainly are! When I was having problems with Trend Micro..(major conflicts on my lappy), I switched to Avira, and ran SAS alongside and it cleaned up my lappy, nicely..haven't switched to anything else, since! :D

That's what it did for me on 3/27 ;) But I didn't see the update availi' on filehippo til just the other day! :D

    Thanks!

    Cin ;) :)

    Thanks for your input, randdy.
    However, it's threats, not threads.
And wouldn't you use SAS to eliminate threats instead of protecting them. ;)
    Cheers.

Have any of you downloaded the mozilla plugin from SAS that allows them to check whats on your computer? Or, are you just using the on demand scanner?

I've never used their File Research Center plugin.
As soon as they have one working for FF 3.0 and above ( apparantly it's a heck of a job), I'll give it a try.
I use SAS only as an on-demand scanner (just like MBAM).
    Cheers.

Is there a reason the auto update is not going up to 4.26?

None that I know of. If you can't get the auto update to work and you download 4.26.1 from the web, perhaps you should run the SAS uninstaller assistant for the older version before updating.
