    Should I tun on my DIR-655 router firewall?

    As the D-Link support page mentions ( link);
    ' The router provides a tight firewall by virtue of the way NAT works.'

    So, the 'firewall' is already up/on.
    You can however tighten it up/scrutinize data and connections even more.
    Using ' SPI' for instance, doesn't harm anyone, it won't slow your computer down as it's the router doing the work.

    Also, make sure to use the most recent firmware and change the default admin (and guest) passwords.
