    hi guys,

i use Gmail as my primary account these days..and realized its not safe anymore since i started doing Banking using it.and it doesnt give much privacy also..all my contacts are also on google servers, no form of encryption etc.

So what can i do to achieve a good level of security & privacy with emails?

are there any free email services out there?

is there a way to encrypt mail in MS Outlook like its on Blackbberry ..of course Blackberry is too good..but smthg to give basic protection against interception or sniffing on wifi?..i use gmail on Outlook 2007.

i am willing to let go off Gmail if there are other options

Nocturnal, you started using it for 'banking'?
You mean email correspondance with your bank? If so, be careful indeed.

You know about the https always on feature for GMail?
When logged in, in your account, go to settings and then look for Browser connection. Select always use https://.
    Cheers.

For Gmail on Windows mobile 6, check this page, Gmail & Outlook Mobile this page and for Outlook 2007 this one.
    Cheers. :)
